Stage 0 · How AI Act Ready works with clients

What AI Act Ready does - and does not do

Understand the service boundary before discussing regulation with a client.

Learn

AI Act Ready helps organisations discover AI use, map roles and regulatory exposure, classify systems, identify governance gaps and assemble evidence-backed remediation plans.

The consultant is not there to provide legal opinions, certify a system or guarantee compliance. The job is to create a defensible governance picture and identify where specialist legal, privacy, security or technical advice is required.

A good engagement leaves the client with clearer ownership, documented decisions, evidence requests and a prioritised plan rather than a vague compliance score.

Remember
  • •Governance support is not legal advice.
  • •Document assumptions rather than hiding uncertainty.
  • •A defensible evidence trail is more valuable than confident guesswork.
Client practice

A client asks: 'Can you confirm we are legally compliant?' Draft a two-sentence response that keeps the engagement useful without giving a legal opinion.
